How to create a contract template?

It's not possible to create contract templates on Indy at this time but this feature is on our radar. If you would to stay up-to-date on when this feature is released, let us know here.

In the meantime, you could create a faux template using the 'Start from scratch' option. Simply create your contract and highlight any portions of text that need to be updated so they can easily be found.

When you're all set, just duplicate the contract by clicking the three-dot menu next to it and selecting 'Duplicate.' After that, it's just a matter of making the necessary edits before sending it off. Super simple, right?

You can also duplicate any of Indy's pre-made contract templates. However, the details you input in steps 1 and 2 of the contract builder are vital for the signature section. If you decide to enter free-edit mode, you won't be able to go back to steps 1 and 2. So, when you duplicate the contract, the name in the signature section will still be the original client's.
